The Pittston Township Ambulance Association is pleased to announce our 2014 membership is successful and keeping pace with previous year member donations. Donations from the business community are ahead of last year as well. The 2014 membership campaign has formally closed as of Saturday March 1st. Late fully donated memberships will still be received.

At a recent meeting, staff officers for 2014 were elected and they are Captain Ed Warunek, Assistant Captain Russ Searfoss III, 1st Lt. Heather Pesotini and 2nd Lt. Ron Pesotini. Operations Secretary is Katie Hawk
and Training Coordinator is Jeff Alaimo.  President is Don Hudzinski Sr.
There are 32 EMS providers on staff with in excess of 300 years EMS experience.

The Ambulance Association welcomes Catie Voegler to our roster of EMS providers.  A current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), she joins two other new EMT providers and all are students at Kings College enrolled in the Physician Assistant program. They are Hayley Weller and Joe Novinski. This is the second year that our EMS has had the opportunity to have students from the local college medical programs doing an active internship with the Pittston Township Ambulance.

In 2012-2013, a student from the Commonwealth Medical College was one of our EMS providers. The Pittston Township Ambulance is reported to be a recommended EMS agency for medical students because of our varied types of emergencies handled and administrative policies.  We are honored to have this level of recognition from the educational and medical community.

Also recently new to our staff is Greg Kaspriski and Jason Mandicott.  Both are Emergency Vehicle Operators with Jason now enrolled in EMT classes.
