DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From Interstate 81 Heading North

Take exit 175 for the PATurnpike I 476 and PA Rt. 315 North.  At exit, there is a traffic light. Proceed to next traffic light (approx 100 yds) and turn left onto Oak Street. Pass over two railroad crossings and proceed up the hill. Travel down the hill to Ford Street which is the last cross street before the traffic light at the bottom of the hill (intersection with South Township Blvd/James A Musto By-Pass). Turn right onto Ford Street, and proceed to stop sign.  Turn right onto Bryden Street.  The Ambulance station and offices are located on the left, next to the Little League field.

From US Rt 11 Heading North

Drive to William Street intersection with Laurel Street and the James A Musto By Pass. At this intersection with traffic light, turn right onto South Township Blvd/James A Musto By Pass. Follow to next traffic light and turn left onto Oak Street.  Take the first left turn onto Ford Street and proceed to stop sign.  Turn right onto Bryden Street.  The ambulance station and offices are located on the left, next to the Little League field.

From US Rt 11 Heading South

Drive to William Street intersection traffic light.  Proceed straight.  This road is known as South Township Blvd/James A Musto By Pass. Follow to next traffic light and turn left onto Oak Street.  Take the first left turn onto Ford Street and proceed to stop sign.  Turn right onto Bryden Street.  The ambulance station and offices are located on the left, next to the Little League field.

For Medical Helicopter Landings - There is a large fenced in grass baseball field located directly behind the EMS Station/facility.  This location can be and has been used for helicopter landings. There are few obstructions from all directions (tall fencing) with the best visual approach from west to east, flying in from over South Township Blvd.  A fly over visual evaluation is recommended prior to landing. On site Fire/Rescue landing services are available via dispatch through the Luzerne County 911 center.
