The Pittston Township Ambulance conducts various demostration and informational presentations for groups and businesses.  Our EMS providers have been at locations such as schools, scouting groups, resident block parties and workplaces.  Each session/event is specifically tailored to the group in attendance and what appears here, is a sample of our Public Relation activities.  If you would be interested in any of our presentations, please call our offices at (570) 654.4717 to discuss your needs.

The Pittston Township Ambulance/EMS participated in WKRZ- FM 98.5 "SAFETY ZONE". This presentation was held at the Wyoming Valley Mall Saturday and Sunday, August 13 and 14 2005, to coincide with the "Back to School" shopping season.

Pittston Township EMS personnel conducted tours of our Emergency Vehicle along with other presentations that included blood pressure screening, auto defibrillation and procedures used on patients that are done by EMS during patient care. These presentations focused on relieving fears of children and adults who may have a need for EMS at some point in their lives.

Along with the EMS presentation, the Pennsylvania State Police conducted fingerprint and photograph records of minors in the event of abduction. These records are retained by parent of the minor child. Seatbelt and car seat use and inspections will also be done.

Fire Services will have a "smoke house" trailer that persons can train in, in the event their home is on fire and they need to escape from.
